Some time Since Hon J K Morehead of this City forwarded you a letter "Signed by himself Govs Curtiss Morton & others asking for the promotion to a Lieutenancy of Private Robert M Wilson, who Enlisted in Co B. 94th Reg Ill Vols, I am anxious (as well as numerous other friends) to Know whether the request met with your approbation. Would you do us the Kindness to inform me of the result by an Early mail
