Dear Mr. Grossman:

Your show last January at the Maria Harriman Galleries impressed me greatly. I found in your paintings and watercolors a vast understanding of nature, a mature richness that has never been surpassed. There was in them a true vision, the vision of a talent that step by step came to a truly universal approach. Your paintings, Mr. Grossman, have something ripe and majestic and earthy.
Because I so appreciate your work I would like to buy a canvass of yours. Is there perhaps something I may purchase that is not too expensive? Please let me know.
                                                            Yours, respectfully
                                                            Tania Nadel
                                                            (Mrs. Michael Nadel)
