Description

Lowell B. Mason (1893-1983) was an attorney, Illinois State Senator (Republican) from the twenty-third district (1923-1930) and a member of the Federal Commission (1946-1956). His brother Roderick W. Mason (1899-       ) served as a Lieutenant in the 132nd Infantry during World War I. Lowell Mason was also a candidate for Illinois Attorney General in 1932. Lowell and Roderick were sons of United State Senator William Ernest Mason (1850-1921).
