Description

The Treadway Collection contains images of the Martin and Maria Treadway family. Martin served in the 3rd Illinois Cavalry during the Civil War. He married Maria "Mary" Murphy in 1872 and they had three children. One son, Elmer, worked for the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad.
