Description

The Adin Baber Collection includes photographs of the Adin and Mary Ellen Hanks Baber family. Adin Baber (1834-1902) married Mary Ellen Hanks, the paternal grand-niece of Abraham Lincoln's mother, Nancy Hanks. Adin and Mary Ellen Hanks had four children: Ora, Caroline, Dexter, and Margaret. Dexter had two children: Adin and Tedford. Adin Baber (1892-1974) wrote several books on Nancy Hanks and the Hanks family geneaology.
