He enlisted the last of july or first of august under Capt Pepper 89 reg Ill Vol and was broken down in the pursuit of the traitor Bragg and has been in the hospital ever since He tells me in his last letter that the Doctors have stated that he has not less than a pattent bucket full of water collected in his bowels He wants to get discharged.
