&lt;hr /&gt; at the formation of the Regt. Naturally delicate the Service has entirely prostrated his energies and has been confined in the Calvert St Hospital, Baltimore since the 6. Sept. 1862.
&lt;p&gt;The Physiciasn tell him they can do nothing for him.  in any shape or manner and being continually losing, he has written to you a few days ago asking for his discharge if it can be had.  fore some unaccountable reason he cannot get it where he is.
