He has worked hard to raise his company and should not be sacrificed unless guilty. I hear it intimated that the charges are made to get his place. I hope you will see justice done him. And I am happy to say that I received an answer from our Excellent Lieut Governor, stating that a transfer could not be made unless there were 40 or more applicants. And I learn from our Surgeon here that they must have certificates proving that they have been off of duty and under treatment for three months. I have a certificate from our Regimental Surgeon which is approved by O. B. Payne <hr /> our Division Surgeon showing that I have been under treatment since the First of February. For Organic Disease of the Liver. Hemorhage of the Peretoneal sack & Dropsey.
