My health had become so impared by exposure and fatigue, it caused disease of the Kidnies so that I was unable to march with the Reigt or Hospitle. <hr /> I therefore took my discharge. The latter part of the statement I know is true - Will you add to the many <hr /> obligations you have placed me under, by ascertaining if they are still on hand, and if possible, having them sent to me. I failed to get anything in the way of arms at St. Louis-- Although I hate the language of complaint, I cannot but think my command has been strangely neglected in the matter of arms.
