From my knowledge of the feeling of the Companies composing the Regiment I firmly believe he is the choice of a large majority of them. He has been my family Physician for years and stands as a source for moral character and temperate habits are exceptional. I do not desire to in the least influence your action againts real worth in the position but I do have the fullest confidence in the ability and worth of Dr Young for the position he asks for.
