He sais he can get an order from his paymaster and that I can give it to the paymaster at pay Department of St Louis and draw the amount that the order calls for.

He would send me money by mail but considering the distance I presume it would not be safe.

Is there any provision made for the friends of volunteers to draw their wages? He sais he can get an order from his paymaster and that I can give it to the paymaster at pay Department of St Louis and draw the amount that the order calls for.

He would send me money by mail but considering the distance I presume it would not be safe.
