Dear Sir:
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 7th inst. addressed to Governor Yates.
In reply, I am directed to inform you that the Bill authorizing the appointment of a “Board of R.R. Commissioners" failed to be passed by the General Assembly. Your letter has been filed for future consideration and if the Bill should pass at the adjourned session the same will be duly considered.
