Mr Yates the govener of Illinois
Dear sir I write you a few lines to inquire of you wheather there is any way provided for a woman to draw her mans wages, my man was taken prisner at the battle of chickamauga and i have knot received any money since that time and I have to children to support and If there is any way of drawing his money Just write to me how to proceed. My man belongs to the 115th Regiment Ills Vol he is in danville Vergina a prisner of war.
