Colonel:

I have the honor to herewith enclosing communication from John. H. Woods Illinois Agent Saint Louis Mo. containing list of Illinois soldiers now in hospital at that point, whose term of service will soon expire, and requesting transfer to Illinois Hospitals.

I would request that an order issue immediately directing that they are

transferred, as all Illinois soldiers are mustered out at this point, it will be to the advantage of both the Government and the soldiers to have them at point of muster.
