Saml. D Woodworth Esq.

St Louis, Mo (Box 934 P.O.)

Dear Sir:

Mr Wesley Kitchen has

called to see me, relative to your situation

and to request any aid in procuring for

you a discharge.

I would cheerfully give all the aid in my

power- [illegible] as it would take some time

to procure the discharges, and your term

of service will soon expire, it is thought

better for you to remain where you are

(over)

comfortably situated, than to be removed

to less desirable quarters, as would be nec-

-essary before your discharge could be

effected. If you still desire it however

I will make the application,

Truly Yours

Rich Yates
