Mr. Richard Yats
I take the privilage of wrighting you a few lines to let you my situation. I am A war widow since last november one year Ago and I have not got my husbands wage yet nor his bounty eather and I never drawed any pension yet. I have got a man in Paris by the name of George Reaves to git my money and I cant [here?] eneything it I wright often and cant git eny I have six children to keep and have [illegible] by the charity of the people ever since December And now
I am able to sow a little and that is all I git to live on at present is not [wasted?] I have not got one Dollar if it was to save my life would you pleas see that I git som money in vary short time I Do not now how to do much longer with out money. Do the best you can for me my husband was in the first Mo Cavalry Company J
Pleas answer this and let me no what you will do for me direct your letter to Rose Ann Martin
Answer this and git me some money if posable I am in grate neede at this time
