Sir,
i have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Excellency's letter of the 6th in the case of Pvt. C A Hutchinson Comp'y C 114 Regt Ill Vols, now on furlough from the Jarvis Hospital in Baltimore
I have already requested the Medical Director in Baltimore to notify the paroled men of regiments serving in the West who are absent from the Hospitals under his control on furlough, that they are authorized to report at Benton Barracks or Camp Chase as may be most convenient, and I presume all so absent will be duly informed accordingly.
I have the honor to enclose an order declaring all paroled prisoners exchanged, and directing all on furlough to report at Camp Chase.
