Sir In reply to your letter of the 1st inst, I would State, that the Account of the State of Illinois has been revised and adjusted in this office and forwarded to the 3rd Auditor for requisition.

I would further say that this account has interruptedly occupied the attention of one of my clerks during all the time it has remained in this office.
