The bearer of this Mr James Doran of this County disires to go to Chattanooga to see after his son, who has been severely wounded, He wishes some thing from you to enable him to get there without any trouble. If you Can give him any thing from under your hand, as a recommendation or indorsement you will Confer a favor upon a worthy & loyal man, for as as such I Can Confidently recommend him to your kind offices. You will also add Another to the Many favors I have Already received at your hands
