Having bin requested by severil to rais a company of cavelry and not knowing whether it would be received or not and not wishing to undertake such a task without authority and for that purpose I adres you this note. If it will be exceptable pleas forward me permission with recruiting authority imediatly I would prefer to go in a new Reg if there is any organizing Awating orders I have the honor of Remaning your
