Sir

We can approach our Governor with petitions, but I come not with a long list of names. only the petition and Prayer as a Wife whose Husband is sick in Hospital at Chattanooga. he has been in the Service two years and has been in a good many hard faught Battles. and was a prisoner at Richmond some time. and now he is sick with a disease that he will not be likely to get over without the privelige of home and the care of friends. and it seems hard after the Campaign he has went through in Georgia that he must die in the Hospital. grant him a discharge and you have the Prayrs of
