Dear Sir

Will you do us the favor to apply at the Military hospital at Keokuk Iowa, for the transfer to Chicago Hospital of Nahum Lamb (Lamb) of 96th Regt Ills Vols, He is now home on furlough which expires in a few days, & I would like if it could be arranged so he could report at Chicago. Samuel K Lindsay of the Same hospital for whom transfer you have applied to Chicago is also home on furlough, & would like to report at Chicago. This will save transportation. These men both live in Lake County
