I asked through Cap Schaffer the other day the appointment of H. J. Baker & C. A. Morgan as 1st Lieuts in one of the Ills regiments, that they might be eligible to the position of my aid de camps.
I have found however that these appts will not be necessary for the present & therefore recall the applications.
