Gov. Yates:
Dear Sir;
My son Harrison J. Baker, of whome I have before writen you, is still at Hospital No. 1 Nashville, although his heart is still diseased his general health is so far improved as to admit of his doing some light-duty. He applied to be sent to the front a few days ago but his application was rejected, he not being fit for field service
We would like to have him transferred to Chicago, and would be very gratful if you would send an order to that effect to his Hospital
With many thanks for your untiring kindness.
I remain
Truly yours,
Cyrus Baker
