Sir I have the honor to request that my Leave of Absence may be extended untill I am regularly exchanged I was granted Leave of Absence on the 21st of August 1864 for twenty five days which time has nearly expired. I have served in the Army since the breaking out of the Rebellion and have received during that time but one Leave of Absence and that was on account of sickness.
