This is to introduce Frank Anderson Esqr, of Sparta, a [illegible] gentleman and excellent Republican. He wants to join the service, will even go as a private, though his position, age & family will hardly allow of that. Randolph has furnished so many companies, that he cannot well raise a Company there. If you can confer some grade upon him you would certainly gratify his very numerous friends.
