President of the United States:
The Undersigned,
Members of the Senate and House of House of Representatives of the State Ohio, fearing that the claims of the West may be overlooked in the appointment of Envoys Extraordinary and Ministers "illegible", beg leave to present the Lietenant Governor of Ohio "illegible" Charles Anderson as genttleman, eminently fitted and peculiarly gratified to represent the United States,at one of the courts of Europe, and as One who by his dev-vices in the field, and labors in the stump, has earned some such recognition, at the hands of the Administration.
