My dear Sir.
The general mail lettings in your State will not come off for two years, and the advertising papers for them will be designated at that time. Your letter of the 5 will be put on file, and memo made of your
recommendations will be then considered. In the meantime, we can talk this matter over. I know of no reason why your wishes shd not be gratified.
Accept my thanks for copies of your speech which I will take an early occasion to read.
