Resolution of the Rhyl Improvement Commissioners.
At the monthly meeting of the Rhyl Improvement Commissioners, held this day, the following resolution was unanimously agreed to:
Resolved, That this meeting desires, before proceeding to the business of the day, to express its detestation of the assassination of President Lincoln and of the wicked attempt made on the life of the Hon. W. H. Seward, and to convey to Mrs. Lincoln and the people of the United States its deep sympathy with them in their loss, and the expression of our hope that our friendly relations with the United States may be continued.
Resolved, That copies of the above resolution be forwarded to the United States minister in London for transmission.
The common seal of the commissioners affixed by order, this 12th day of May, 1865.
