Resolved, That this company desires to express its deep sorrow and indignation at the assassination of Mr. Lincoln, President of the United States, and to record, in common with the whole British nation, its profound sympathy with the government and people of America at the very serious loss they have sustained by the atrocious crime which has just been perpetrated.
