Accompanying find a batch of Resolutions & Letters from C. I. Dilworth which he requests me to Mail to you I have not read them but suppose they are valuable and hope their perusal will more entertaining &c I also enclose a Short Letter from our Mutual friend William Phelps of Fulton Co. Ills which should & no doubt will be duly appreciated by you I should much regret to see injustice done to an Officer of the 85th Reg. Ills. Vol of Merit C. I. Dilworth I understand is the only unconditional Union Officer in the Reg however you are better posted on such subjects than I am

I understand William Engle has sold our Greenview Farm and has some Money for you & me what disposition do you wish done with it I have not seen him since the sale he sold to Henry Marbole for $30. per Acre 2/3 Cash & 1/3 1st Aug next
