Dear Friend Enclosed find Letter to myself from J. T. Blaney of Andalusia, Rock Island County.
Our Representative, Martin about a week ago told me that he Should Support you But I am informed that he Left here this morning in care of Geo F. Harding of Chicago for Springfield which Looks Suspicious. I intended to went with him but Severe illness of my Wife Detains me. But as Soon as She is convalescent I shall take first Train of cars for your City to Do all in my power for Your interests.
I have nothing new to tell you of or about Strain.
