Description
A disproportionately large man stands on a chair and warns Democratic presidential candidate William J. Bryan not to ask questions. Bryan, the forty-first United States Secretary of State, was the Democratic nominee for president in 1896, 1900, and 1908. A dog sleeps behind the man on the chair, possible alluding to the saying "Let sleeping dogs lie."
