Gov Yates.
On Yesterday I wrote you a letter by Cal Smith who departed for Springfield last night. on reading over the Copy of it this morning I find that unless Explained you might Conclude that I was dissatisfied at your action and that my discontentment and Complaints were at your action Now no such thought as that Entered my mind. I am dissatisfied at my being Subjected to Annoyances more of a character that I would rather Speak than write of.
I understand the Causes I think that Compelled you to move my Regt here, and Blame you nor find fault of yourself in nothing. I hope you will see my letter in that light
Respectfully & truly
I N Haynie
