Dear Sir

I beg leave to call your attention to our Mutual friend Mr S.B.Floyd of this County who is at this time assisting raising men to fill up a Regt. from this portion of the State under the new call - for Vollenteers Mr F has from the first commencement of our difficulties been a Sound and loyal Union man and has done much to place the minds of the people in the right direction in this section of the Country. if there is any position in the Regt that you can give Mr F. it will be hartily approved by the loyal people of this district.
