I take the Liberty to write a few lines to you Concurning Mr William Elsberry and family, he has inlisted in the Armey and his Wife is verry mutch Dissadisfyde his wife and Child is Boath Sick and for hur sake we write believing you to bee a Man of humane feeling will you release him for hur sake knowing if he has to go that he will leave familey in verry destitute Surcamstancis he Inlisted without taking things into Sonsidesation
propperly in what Surcamstancis he was leaving his familye in and we beleave that he wood do no good in the Armey under the presant Surcamstancis not Douting his loyalty at tall if we did we wood bee the last ones to [intersead?] for him in hur behalf and If you will release him from Survice write Amediatley before being Swore in to the united States Survice the Company is at Decatre Macon Couny Ills
