Gov. of Ill. -
One year ago last April I left home and friends in Kansas - came to this place - opened a school - taught four weeks - enlisted in comp. H. - Capt Noleman's - first Ill. Cav. - Was discharged with the reg. I now desire to be allowed to return to Kansas, where I expect to remain. Such a favor will be thankfully received.
