Transcription

Know all men by these presents that we Mordicai Lincoln and Luke [Mudd?] are held and firmly bound unto his Excellency the Governor of Kentucky in the sum of five hundred Dollars to the payment whereof well and truly to be made to the said Governor and his Successors we bind ourselves our heirs and jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 6th day of February 179[0?]. The condition of the above obligation is such, that if the above bound Mordicai Lincoln as Constable of the County of Washington shall by himself well and truly collect all officers fees and dues put into his hands to collect and account for and pay the same at such time and in such manner as is due directed by Law, shall also well and truly execute and due returns make of all process and precepts to him directed or to him delivered and pay and satisfy all sums of Money and Tobacco by him received upon any such process or precepts to the person or persons entitled thereto, and in all other things shall truly and faithfully execute and perform the said office of Constable according to Law during his Continuance therein, then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force.
