Know all men by these presents that we Edward Robison administrator of Reason Ray deceased and John T Stuart are heto and firmly bound unto the people of the state of Illinois for the use of Caleb Short in the amount and full sum of one hundred and fifty dollars - which payment well and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators firmly “[illegible]” and severally by these presents Witness, our hands and seals this 10th day of June 1834 - Whereas the said Caleb Short on trial of his claim against the estate of Reason Ray decd - before the court of Probate for Sangamon County-heto at the office of the Judge thereof in Springfield on the 7th day of April 1834 - obtained the order of said court in his favor against the said estate for the sum of $96.00 and costs from which order the said Edward Robison as administrator of the said Reason Ray deceased prayd an appeal to the circuit court of Sangamon County - now the condition of the above bond is such that if the said Edward Robison shall

prosecute his said appeal and shall pay all costs in case the said order shall be confirmed by the circuit court and the claim as subsequently ordered by the said court of Probate then the above bond to become nul and void otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue.
