My Dear Sir

Permit me to introduce to you the Hon T.S. Wilson of Town. Judge Wilson was a member of the National convention at Cincinnati and served on the committee of [Resolutions?] with you, and hence you will probably recollect him when you see him. He is one of the most distinguished men in Town as a politician and a Lawyer and Judge, having recently been reelected to the Bench. He has some business in your department and I ask for him a fair hearing.

Vry truly your friend

Hon Jacob Thompson
