My dear Graham

Am sorry I missed the delights in store for me at your house last evening. We came home very late. Little B and I had to bid adieu to Miller and Hewitt.

I should have called on you this evening to express in person my regrets, but we have 'arranged' to avail ourselves of your kindness by visiting the Hotel de Ville--- which it is the day to allez thither.

Hoping soon to catch a [smile?] from thine elegant lips---believe me

Ever yours Big B.
