My dear Sir -

Will you accept this bouquet as a slight acknowledgement of your kindnefs? Trifling as it may seem it has in my eyes a pricelefs value, for it is fraught with sad sweet memories of our who was too good for earth.

I trust you will receive it as a slight token of my gratitude, and should it ever call to mind him whose life she made a blifsful drama let it draw from you a prayer for his relief who suffers so keenly.

That I shall be with her again is my sincere belief -- that it may please our Father some to reunite us is my most fervent prayer.

Deeply regretting my absence on the day you called, and with my warmest wishes for your welfare,

believe me

sincerely and gratefully

Yours

Edwin Booth

Rev. Mr. Huntington

Boston.
