Mr Green Wright

As you have some correspondence with Gov. Yates would it not be well enough to inform him of the following.Ishmal Dilly was at Richmond yesterday and over heard a conversation between two C.H. one was telling the other that he had good News from Springfield They had one Thousand [prime?] rifles and was distributing a rifle and revolver to every man that would agree to use them and says he you will hear from them in less than thirty days Dick Yates will be hung and Springfield laid in ashes and then says he the
work commences.
What think you of such a state of things would it not be well to Notify the Gov. of the report it can do no harm if it does no good
Yours Respectfuly
