Dear cosin i take my pen in hand to in form yo that iam well at present and hope those few lines may find you enjoying the same health and i received your leter and was glad to here from you igot your letter on the 22 of march there is hard times here and you was speeking about this conscript bill and there is more than two thirds of the men in this State that is apose to it and they are holding meetings and are arming them selvs to figt against it and there is a geat many dis ertors in this township and ithink you had better disert you can be protected
in it and if you doe let me now soon and if you doe bring your gun with you i hav one of the lest muskets that cum out of your regiment and iwish you wood cum home we wood like to see very much and i dont no where harrison is now i hav not herd from him since he left here george there is lots of girls here that wants huging here ithink you had better cum home and tend to sum of them george i hav not much to writ this time but i want you to cum home come come come home but remain your affectionate friend
