My Dear Sir
Yesterday I droped you a few lines just as the mail was closing, with refference to a Telegram from Col. Hicks - If a company should be formed on a proper Union basis we have no objection to its acceptance if reported - We think the Col will come out all right The Salem Advocate of this morning is out for the war for the first time All our Secessionists are converted but three & They can not stand out against the preshure more than two or three days -
