If I could be of Service in your judgement in any Illinois Regment in the capacity of Chaplin I should be gratified to receive such an appointment at your hands; provided a sufficient remuneration is given, to support my family in my absence from them.
I am a traveling minister in the M.E. Church, Centrall Illinois Conference, Lasalle District. I will refer to Captain Wm Gibson to Captain Senator Pickett, and mr Blades of Iroquois County. If this be answered please direct to Lasalle Ills.
