This will be presented by Mr Thos Pope of Quincy in this State. who comes to you, to procure if possible the exchange of his son Charles A. Pope of Co "A" 137th Ills Regt, now a prisoner of War at Cahawba Alabama. I would feel personally obliged if this mans exchange could be effected.

Anything you can do to further the
