It is represented that Rufus M Colville a member of company G of your regiment has been unfit for duty for the last eight months because of physical disability, caused by "Piles" and that his recovery is a matter of great doubt unless discharged or permitted to return to his home to recuperate health

I will feel obliged if you will have him properly examined and if consistent cause a discharge issued.
