govenor yates Dear sir I see in the Cincinnati Commercial a Dispatch a bout the 14 a the 15 Illinois Regiments Being all Captured and killed and wounded but company A I have a husband in that Regiments he Blonged to Company F his name is Daniel Weaver the first three years he belonged to the 14 Ellinois Regiment Company K his Captons name was Strong I wont to know if you have herd Enthing more frome them I wonte you if you pleas to find out what has become of my husband if you Can I am varey uneasey about him I have wrote to his Colonel george C. Rogers six weakes ago I have not resievd an ancer from him

will you please to write to me and let me know if you know eneything of him or not
