permit me to call your attention to a case of charity in the case of George Algire who is in the hospital at Quincy Ills Algire is worthless to the Army & yesterday we buried his wife leaving five children three of whom are very low & all dependant on charity for Sustinance and Shamefull as it is it is true that no person Except the children were present at the death of Mrs Algire Gov. if possible have Algire discharged & oblige
